Louth our main supports are in the areas of living accommodation,
employment, career development, education and training.
DEPUTY CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
WALK is embarking on a challenging and exciting phase of development
guided by our most recent strategic and operational plans, and we are
establishing the post of Deputy CEO as part of our internal management
restructuring.
The Deputy CEO will be primarily responsible for managing and
developing the organisations clinical supports and our internal and
external communications and for providing oversight and support to the
senior management the team. The role will also involve providing
ongoing support to the CEO and deputising for him in his absence.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST ARE:
* A minimum of 5 years senior management experience in the
intellectual disability sector
* A relevant third level qualification in the areas of health,
social care or equivalent
* A third level qualification in a relevant management discipline
* A track record of achievement in leading and supporting
organisational development and change
* Proven knowledge and commitment to social inclusion and rights
based approaches to providing supports for people with intellectual
disability
* Experience of working directly with people who have intellectual
disability
